The List: Week 28

Since it’s the end of the school year and I’ll be bidding Richmond adieu for a while, I have a good many dinner obligations with friends and classmates before I skip town. That means I’m pretty much planning for a full week of breakfast, a half-week of lunches & dinners, and road-food. A $30 budget should get me through just fine.

Here’s what I have planned:

Breakfasts

  • Oatmeal
  • Cereal
  • Eggs, biscuits & fruit (apples & mangoes)

Snacks

  • Fruit (apples & mangoes)
  • Carrot sticks & red pepper slices
  • Granola bars
  • Homemade almond crackers
  • Peanut butter and oatmeal cookies (also for a potluck I’ll be going to)

Lunches & Dinners

Road food

  • Apples
  • Carrot sticks & red pepper slices

  • Homemade almond crackers
  • Chocolate
  • Asian chicken wraps

What I’m using that I have already:

  • 3/4 lb lean beef (ground)

  • 1 11oz can mandarin oranges
  • Whole wheat wraps

  1. Where’s the recipe for the Asian Chicken Wraps? I’ve looked all over for it. Tried the chicken & tabouli last night. Yum!
